Telehealth Behaviour Consultation
Our Online Behaviour training program is designed for complex behaviour problems with clients looking to complete their sessions over the phone or video conference. Email support is available between booked sessions. This program is for dogs that are upset by other dogs, often called reactive dogs, as well as dogs that are fearful, undersocialized or ones that need help with impulse control, separation anxiety, nuisance barking and stereotypic behaviour. This program focuses on reducing reactivity, building confidence and teaching life skills helping dogs learn how to thrive in their environment.
Behaviour Training Session are designed by a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer. This session will include email check-ins between training sessions, an initial assessment, training plan and resources as well as support through the homework.
We recommend starting with training sessions booked in once a week for the first few sessions then moving to more spread out sessions.
Private Sessions
Our Private training program is designed for dogs that are upset by other dogs, often called reactive dogs, as well as dogs that are fearful, undersocialized or ones that need help with impulse control. This program focuses on reducing reactivity, building confidence and teaching life skills for successful neighborhood walking.
Private Training Session are designed by a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer. This package will include email check-ins between training sessions, and support through the homework. If you are unable to attend, videos of your dog completing tasks will be included.
The option to upgrade your session to include an additional training assistant and dog is recommended for those in Guelph and the surrounding cities that are looking to work on dog specific triggers. $20.00 upgrade fee for Training assistant and Alumni dog
Training Walks
This type of training is for dogs that have mild to moderate obedience or behaviour issues that respond well to reinforcers such as toys, treats, and praise. This program teaches basic to advanced obedience through daytime training walks. Upon graduation, dogs that are eligible for the Alumni Walk Program where they help teach reactive or fearful dogs and generalize/distraction proof their own training.
With this type of service, training is completed by experienced staff under the guidance and supervision of a certified trainer. Communication between trainer and assistant is shared through email updates and videos. Staff will only start with a dog after a 1-2week hand off with the head trainer to go over the dog's specific triggers.
With these walks you’ll also be given video updates of milestones/ new games played that show your pups progress and explain the training and written updates of each session. Once your dog has graduated they can qualify for Alumni training walks or adventures.
Alumni Walks
This type of training is for dogs that have graduated from our program and have responded well to reinforcers such as toys, treats, and praise. This program reinforces basic to advanced obedience and behaviour training through daytime training walks. The Alumni Walk Program allows dogs to help teach other reactive or fearful dogs through desensitization at a distance. This training allows the Alumni to generalize all the training they have learned and build their skills in new and exciting places.

Group Adventures
This type of training is for dogs that have graduated from our program and have responded well to reinforcers such as toys, treats, and praise. This program reinforces basic to advanced obedience and behaviour training through daytime training adventures. The Group Adventures Program allows dogs to generalize all the training they have learned and build their skills in new and exciting places while having fun exploring with their other four legged friends.
With this type of service, training is completed by experienced staff under the guidance and supervision of a certified trainer. Staff will only start with a dog after a 1-2week hand off with the head trainer to go over their specific triggers. With these walks you’ll also be given written updates of milestones/ new games played that show your dogs progress and explain the training.
